To anyone who thinks using religion as a basis for law is a good idea, go here. Short version: Hindu writer sued for writing that a statue of a Hindu goddess aroused him.

Stupid factor: 10. But if the wingnuts in this country have their way, it'll be like that but worse. At least the Hindu case is pretty much a civil matter over "offended religious sensibilities." Let the wingnuts loose, and they'll be stoning your son for wearing saggy shorts.
