A Touch of Papal History

Ah, the Pornocracy, courtesy of Wikipedia...
Historically, 'pornocracy' refers to a period of papacy in the early tenth century, beginning with Pope Sergius III from 904 and ending with the death of Pope John XII in 963. During this period, the popes were under the influence of corrupt women (though not necessarily prostitutes), especially Theodora and her daughter, Marozia. This period is also called the Rule of the Harlots.
Perhaps the only time that Popes were straight, it's an interesting side-note of history -- and something that really helps put the lie to all that infallibility, back to the reign of Peter bullshit.

You might also want to check out this, all about Popes who fucked.

And fucked and fucked and fucked. Damn, they were horny bastards back in the 10th, 11th and 16th centuries...

Pope Ratzo -- are you taking notes? If you do it with adult women, you're okay. Just try to stay away from the boys...
