Meet Mitt Romney's Supporters, Chapter 1

Senator Larry Craig (R-ID), who has been top-rated by the American Family Association, Concerned Women for America and the Family Research Council for his socially conservative, "family-friendly" positions, is an opponent of gay marriage, against expanding hate-crime laws to cover gays and lesbians, and voted against extending employment discrimination laws for the same groups.

He was busted in an airport men's room in Minneapolis, trying to solicit some hot gay sex from an undercover officer, and he pled guilty. But its okay, because he plays the ultimate hypocrite, and votes against the very behavior in which he engages.

This has been a brief introduction to Mitt Romney's supporters. More to follow as the rap sheets pile up.

Romney’s Utah Finance Chair to be hit with Law Suit:

In a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, 133 plaintiffs have alleged that Robert Lichfield, co-chairman of Romney’s Utah finance committee owned or operated residential boarding schools for troubled teenagers where students were “subjected to physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual abuse.”

According to the Reason Magazine article, the Lichfield connection goes much higher in the Romney campaign:
But the link to teen abuse goes far higher up in the Romney campaign. Romney’s national finance co-chair is a man named Mel Sembler. A long time friend of the Bushes, Sembler was campaign finance chair for the Republican party during the first election of George W. Bush, and a major fundraiser for his father.
According to the L.A. Times, California investigators said that at Straight teens were “subjected to unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threats, mental abuse… and interference with daily living functions such as eating, sleeping and toileting.”

Damn. What is it with these conservative Republican males and underage boys? You'd almost think they were ancient Greeks, where this sort of thing was encouraged.

Or they were following the lead of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the boy scouts -- who had a very noticeable interest in watching pubescent boys skinny-dip.

There are rumors of a teen boy sex-ring in Washington that have floated around for years, and that gay hustler press corps member (Jeff Gannon?) who was exposed a few years back is alleged to have been some 13 year-old boy who was kidnapped, brainwashed and sold into sex slavery in... Washington, D.C.

Power corrupts. Absolute power allows the rich to utterly corrupt the poor and powerless.
